A closer look at some of the art created over the 15 week Too Much Sauce project.
UW Student and Too Much Sauce group member, Jaxyn Froiland, led us through an analog process for making the digital creation.
The UW-Madison Glass Lab welcomed us for an evening of instruction and demonstration, which provided the base for our group to work on design process for the neon pieces. Thanks to a BLINK grant from the Madison Arts Commission, we were able to leave the final production of our ideas to the professionals at the UW-Madison Glass Lab and at the Neon Lab.
UW students and Too Much Sauce group members, Sydney Parsons and Noah Huber, brought the the group together by playing with colors and personalities.
UW Arts Professor and Too Much Sauce lead facilitator, Faisal Abdu'Allah, took us to the UW-Madison Humanities Building over a 2 week period to instruct and use the screen printing labs, while continuously pounding on his underlying theme of how messaging can influence your personal brand and that we all have the power to define ourselves to the greater community.
